Are you dedicated to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of a company's IT infrastructure? We are seeking an individual to oversee the support and upkeep of the SAP system for a media organization's IT division, catering to approximately 1,700 staff members.
Position: SAP IT Application Engineer
Location: Hybrid work model
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and improve the SAP system while managing interfaces.
- Guarantee the dependability of SAP Enterprise IT Services and automate routine maintenance tasks.
- Assess, design, and document interfaces, aiding in the development of SAP architecture.
- Lead innovative projects in collaboration with business stakeholders and software development teams.
- Work alongside IT partners and vendors, adhering to IT policies and governance.
- Perform ABAP programming for system modifications.
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of business applications, contributing to contingency strategies.
- Track industry trends and relay pertinent information.
Your Qualifications:
- Several years of experience, ideally with a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics.
- In-depth understanding of SAP processes and architecture.
- Experience in application development and release management within the SAP framework.
- Preferred certifications in PRINCE2, PMI, and/or ITIL4.
- Excellent communication skills, service-oriented, and assertive.
- Experience in both traditional and agile project management methodologies.
- Ability to work autonomously, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluency in German and proficient English skills.
