Job Description

We are seeking a Patent Attorney Candidate to join our team in Munich. As a Patent Attorney Candidate, you will work with a group of experienced IP experts to develop and implement patent strategies for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of patent applications and responses to office actions
  • Participating in innovation workshops with our clients to develop new digital business models
  • Receiving a comprehensive patent law education through a combination of on-the-job training and external courses
  • Collaborating with colleagues, external lawyers, and patent offices to develop and implement patent strategies
  • Supporting the development of patent portfolios and licensing agreements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent technical and legal knowledge, with a strong understanding of patent law and technology
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to travel moderately for training, client meetings, and patent office visits
