Lead Legal Advisor (w/m/d) (Full-time) all locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal and strategic counsel to colleagues on legal matters related to large-scale projects in civil construction, architecture, and engineering law, with a preference for procurement law.
• Conduct thorough reviews of project-related correspondence from a legal standpoint and prepare legal opinions, statements, and claims based on solid legal expertise.
• Oversee litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes, including the engagement, coordination, and evaluation of external legal advisors or attorneys.
• Initiate and implement necessary measures for the extrajudicial enforcement of claims in complex cases with significant economic and strategic implications for the organization.
• Engage in active legal project management, including negotiation and legal oversight of extensive project-related contracts, as well as contract reviews and drafting.
• Regularly report and communicate proactively with our leadership team, providing actionable recommendations.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Outstanding legal qualifications (1st and 2nd state examinations).
• Relevant professional experience as a lawyer in construction, engineering, and architectural law or within the legal department of a comparable corporate entity (preferably including litigation experience) for at least 5 years.
• Relevant experience in international project business or a willingness and motivation to further develop this area.
• Curiosity and readiness to take on cross-border project responsibilities within an international corporation.
• Strong technical and commercial understanding.
• Goal-oriented, independent working style combined with a collaborative mindset.
• Confident demeanor, excellent communication skills, and fluent proficiency in both German and English.
• Curiosity and proactive engagement in Legal Tech initiatives.
