Role Overview:

As a Software License Manager, you will oversee the software asset management team, ensuring that the procurement of software, services, and products is both cost-effective and compliant with legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to software procurement and license management.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of licenses and contracts, including the planning of renewals and providing support to international teams.
  • Oversee the procurement process from the creation of articles to the verification of invoices.
  • Conduct thorough market research, gather quotes, and assess potential suppliers.
  • Continuously enhance IT procurement processes while maintaining comprehensive documentation of all contracts and transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of IT, particularly in software, licenses, and services.
  • Understanding of software license agreements and the distribution frameworks of major global companies.
  • Proven experience in software and license management with a methodical approach.
  • Strong capabilities in process design and business acumen.
  • Analytical skills to refine complex license metrics and conditions.
  • Fluency in both German and English is essential.
