Accounting Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for timely monthly closing, in coordination with Brazil Shared Service, ensuring the correctness of Manual Journal Entries and compliance with relevant transactions, international (IFRS) and local GAAPs, and internal and SOX controls. They will also be responsible for high-level communication with internal and external auditors and Brazil Shared Service, monitoring the booking of relevant transactions, and preparing Bridge files between IFRS and German GAAP and German GAAP annual reports.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in business, economics, finance, or accounting, with 5-10 years of work-related experience. They will be a pro-active self-starter, able to work well independently and in a team, with a willingness to learn and train. Fluency in English and German is required, and previous experience with SAP or another ERP system is preferred.
