Software Engineer for Autonomous Driving Systems

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at HR4YOU as an Applikateur Fahrerassistenzsysteme. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software for autonomous driving systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Integration: Integrate various systems in the area of EE and future systems for automated driving.
  • Test Development and Execution: Collaborate in the specification of validation tests and execute them in the test vehicle or laboratory to release safety-critical functions.
  • Equipment Planning and Management: Plan and oversee the equipment of prototypes and technical carriers, ensuring overall functionality.
  • Fleet Testing: Plan and conduct vehicle tests with various prototype stages for internal development and for our customers, including evaluation and documentation.
  • Application Development and Steering: Develop and improve application procedures and steer application workflows.
  • Support for Acquisition and Marketing Activities: Support acquisition initiatives, customers, and marketing events such as trade shows or press conferences.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: You have completed your university studies in the field of engineering or a comparable field and have relevant professional experience.
  • Experience with Autonomous Driving Systems: Ideally, you have experience with autonomous driving systems for passenger cars or commercial vehicles, as well as knowledge of the associated sensor technologies (Radar, Video, Ultrasound).
  • Development Tools: You have practical knowledge of relevant development tools such as Vector Toolchain (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape) and possibly also ADTF, dSPACE, etc.
  • Development Tools and Programming Knowledge: Experience with development tools like DOORS or programming knowledge rounds out your professional profile.
  • Independence and Responsibility: You are characterized by a high degree of independence and responsibility, as well as analytical thinking and systematic approach.
  • Teamwork and Communication: You are a team player with high stress tolerance, flexibility, and willingness to travel, as well as excellent communication skills and very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
  • Driver's License: You hold a valid driver's license (Class B).
  • Existing Driver Qualification: Ideally, you already have existing driver qualifications for working with development vehicles, also on test sites.
