Challenge Ahead:

Modern vehicles are equipped with an increasing number of functions, leading to complex vehicle networking and a large amount of data being exchanged between sensors, control units, and operating elements. This data is crucial for the development and testing of new vehicle projects and the operation of series vehicles. The challenge lies in extracting the essential information from the vast amounts of data and processing and visualizing it as required.

IAV operates a measurement data management system that stores, structures, and automatically analyzes vehicle measurement data. The analysis results are available directly on this system, facilitating troubleshooting in vehicle systems, validation, and release of functions, and entire vehicle projects.

Your Tasks:

  • Implement features and bug fixes for an analysis framework as part of development sprints
  • Review the code of other team members
  • Test implemented features in both manual and automated tests
  • Participate in sprint and planning meetings
  • Contribute to the concept and idea phase for future developments

Necessary Skills:

  • Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or automotive engineering
  • Extensive knowledge of Python
  • Experience with TypeScript/React (web) development
  • Experience with collaborative software tools (e.g. Git, GitLab)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, good knowledge of German is helpful
  • Communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Independent way of working

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. in GitLab) desired
  • Experience with Kubernetes/Docker desired
  • Experience with framework development desired
