Housekeeping Assistant

The Stiftung Kieler Stadtkloster Foundation is a non-profit organization with a rich history in Germany, operating eight senior centers offering various housing options for older adults, including nursing care, day care, shared living, assisted living, and senior residences. We also provide outpatient care services.

We are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant (m/f/d) to join the team at one of our senior centers on a part-time basis with up to 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals for residents in a clean and safe environment
  • Set tables and wash dishes in a timely manner
  • Provide exceptional service in the dining area
  • Clean resident apartments and common areas to maintain a high standard of hygiene
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules and regulations to ensure a healthy environment
  • Assist with events and contribute to a positive work atmosphere
  • Manage laundry services to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
  • Promote a positive work environment and team collaboration

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in housekeeping or a related field
  • Ability to work with older adults and provide empathetic care
  • Reliability, initiative, and a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
