Strategic Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Buyer to join our Corporate Investment Services Team at Universal-Investment-Luxembourg S.A.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans for indirect procurement categories, conducting market analysis, and identifying potential suppliers. They will also negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for indirect procurement categories
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers
  • Manage supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality or service delivery
  • Analyze spend data and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Develop and implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality
  • Track and report on cost savings achieved through strategic sourcing initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Strategic Buyer in the indirect procurement categories
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Very good English & German language skills
