Student Hub Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Student Hub Team in Hamburg as a Student Hub Advisor. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional support to students, helping them navigate their academic journey and overcome any challenges they may face.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to students, addressing their academic and personal needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement and sense of belonging
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify students at risk of dropping out and provide targeted support
  • Oversee and support the peer mentor program, including training and development of student mentors
  • Stay up-to-date with campus support services and refer students to relevant resources as needed

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and spoken language skills in German and English
  • Demonstrated organizational experience in running events and initiatives
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to take proactive action in addressing student needs
  • 1-3 years of experience in student services or a comparable field
