TEAM INSIGHT
Join our innovative SAP Enterprise Architects team within the SAP Customer Services & Delivery division. Collaborating with architects across the Middle and Eastern Europe region, we spearhead digital transformation initiatives utilizing advanced SAP technologies, advancing the RISE with SAP strategy, advocating for Clean Core principles, and promoting the adoption of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Our goal is to streamline and modernize IT environments, minimizing complexity and operational expenses while driving innovation and efficiency to meet changing business demands.
YOUR ROLE
As a Chief Enterprise Architect (f/m/d), you will be responsible for crafting a detailed enterprise architecture framework for our clients that aligns with their organizational objectives. You will collaborate with virtual account teams (VAT) as a transformation ally and oversee activities such as:
- Guiding clients through their cloud transition, focusing on adoption and scalability.
- Offering enterprise architecture insights utilizing the RISE with SAP methodology and Clean Core principles to ensure customers leverage SAP's cloud advantages.
- Acting as a Transformation Partner for C-level executives, enhancing architectural effectiveness.
- Facilitating adoption by identifying and addressing technical risks.
- Aligning clients and partners with SAP's Clean Core strategy, accelerating BTP integration, and advocating for SAP best practices.
- Providing customer insights to all teams, enhancing client engagement and satisfaction.
- Communicating the value of the proposed architecture and guiding the realization of identified benefits.
- Serving as a trusted advisor, ensuring secure, reliable, and adaptable cloud infrastructures for critical business processes.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Skills in Transformation, Architecture & Solutions:
- Extensive experience in delivering enterprise transformation initiatives and aligning client priorities with architectural frameworks and roadmaps.
- Deep understanding of the SAP Solution Portfolio and Enterprise Architecture Framework (North Star).
- Experience with Business Technology Platform components (application development, automation, data analytics, integration, AI) and practical knowledge of S/4HANA applications.
- Strong grasp of Cloud & Clean Core Strategy, familiarity with SAP LeanIX, Signavio, and Cloud ALM.
- Knowledge of SAP's Business AI roadmap, including use case identification and piloting AI-driven solutions to enhance business operations.
- Expertise in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory methodologies.
Essential Requirements:
- 15+ years in customer-facing roles (e.g., Program Manager, Architect), with experience in comprehensive architectural design for hybrid solution environments.
- Thorough knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, with experience in BTP components and services such as application development, automation, data analytics, integration, and AI capabilities.
- Technical knowledge or experience with S/4HANA applications.
- Proficiency in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory methodologies and Clean Core principles.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills (in English and German) at senior management and C-levels, across IT and business functions.
- A mindset geared towards Strategic Thinking, Continuous Learning, and Business Acumen.
- Understanding of on-premise and corresponding SAP cloud solutions.
- Professional training and certification (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework featured by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect [P_SAPEA_2023], TOGAF).
