About the Role: Our client is on an exciting transformation journey with a newly established corporate function. They are seeking a Senior Manager for Procurement - Corporate Services, ideally located in a central area.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Development: Design and implement innovative strategies for corporate indirect commodities.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on market dynamics and supplier performance. Your analytical expertise will identify opportunities for cost efficiency, risk management, and process enhancements.
  • Negotiation Leadership: Take the lead in bid preparation, offer evaluation, and securing optimal agreements. Present your findings to management with clarity and confidence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to foster synergy and achieve outstanding results. Your collaborative efforts will ensure success for all parties involved.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly refine templates, tools, and data integrity within our systems. Your initiatives will promote efficiency and innovation throughout the organization.
Candidate Profile:
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related discipline. Proven experience in automotive procurement, particularly in indirect commodities.
  • Key Skills: Outstanding negotiation and contract management capabilities, with a focus on cost reduction and supplier performance enhancement. Strong strategic planning skills and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management principles.
  • Professional Mindset: An independent working style with a proactive approach and analytical mindset. Proficiency in both German and English, along with strong skills in MS Office and SAP. Additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to organize and lead cross-functional teams within a matrix structure. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding the team towards success.
