Youth Migration Services Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our team at Bethel, specializing in Migration and Youth Services. This position offers a 30 to 40 hour workweek with an indefinite contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to individuals with a migration background, promoting social integration and well-being.
- Develop and implement tailored group activities to foster community engagement and social cohesion.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local migration-related organizations and authorities to ensure effective collaboration and information exchange.
- Manage documentation and administrative tasks related to client records and program evaluation.
- Conduct community outreach at the local level to raise awareness about Bethel's services and promote social inclusion.
- Collaborate with the local integration network to develop and implement strategies for social integration and community development.
Requirements:
- Completed degree in Social Pedagogy/Social Work or a related field.
- Professional experience in the field of migration, with a focus on social work and community development.
- Knowledge of relevant legal frameworks and policies related to migration and social integration.
- Fluency in multiple languages, including English, French, Arabic, or other languages relevant to the target population.
- Intercultural competence and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities.
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
