In this role, you will have the chance to design cutting-edge microservices from the ground up. Additionally, you will work on established services that integrate various external APIs, refining them to accommodate diverse requirements. Key Responsibilities:
  • Introduce innovative ideas to enhance our robust and reliability-focused Golang backend, distributed across multiple global data centers.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into actionable features and architectural improvements. As a senior member, you will lead the design and implementation of new microservices and architecture upgrades.
  • Consolidate and standardize the various API and user flow variants.
  • Continuously improve our existing codebase and system architecture.
  • Collaborate with experts from diverse technological backgrounds and countries, learning from your experienced colleagues while sharing your own knowledge.
  • Engage with various roles within our cross-functional teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • 4-5 years of experience in backend or cloud software development; mid-level candidates should have at least 2 years of experience.
  • Proficient in Go, with a minimum of 2 years of experience; mid-level candidates should have at least 1 year of experience.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and application design.
  • Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • A collaborative team player with problem-solving skills and a sense of ownership.
  • Optional: Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Svelte.
  • Optional: Experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, ECS, Kafka, and SQS.
