As a Risk Management Specialist at W&W-Gruppe, you will have the opportunity to work in a motivated team and a modern work environment at one of the largest financial institutions in Germany. We develop and validate, among other things, prognosis models for the probability of default and the loss rate in case of default, both in accordance with the IRB approach (Internal Ratings Based Approach) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Responsibilities

  • Independent conception and further development, as well as validation of internal risk models (IRB and IFRS)
  • Independent consideration of regulatory requirements
  • Preparation of statements, analyses, and decision-making documents for top management and internal and external stakeholders (e.g., internal audit, banking supervision)
  • Participation in projects and, in the future, the opportunity to take on functional or project responsibility

Requirements

  • Desirable: completed studies in mathematics/natural sciences or business/economics with a quantitative focus or comparable training
  • Well-developed conceptual and analytical skills, as well as a structured way of working
  • Willingness to delve into complex and varied subject areas and apply them in practice
  • Programming and SQL skills (SAS, R, or comparable statistical tools) and safe handling of MS Office and English skills are an advantage
  • Enjoy working creatively in a team
