About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Team Lead to join our team at Sysmex Europe SE. As a key member of our EMEA IT organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the stabilization and harmonization of our regional IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the infrastructure team, including the professional development of team members
- Design and implement a harmonized, stable, and secure IT infrastructure, including data centers, server management, networks, storage systems, cloud services, monitoring, and automation
- Develop and implement a strategy for future cloud utilization across the region
- Define a roadmap for building and operating cloud-based systems, including AWS and Azure
- Plan and manage projects aimed at harmonizing regional setups, ensuring stakeholder management and timely delivery
- Oversee the design, implementation, and operation of reliable and efficient IT systems, both on-prem and cloud-based
- Ensure user support in line with internal targets and maintain user satisfaction
- Contribute to the building of an EMEA IT organization
- Align with IT and the EMEA region
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background, leadership skills, and experience in IT infrastructure management. You should have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience in stabilizing and harmonizing IT infrastructure across diverse setups
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and hybrid cloud environments
- Experience in Microsoft Azure, IT networks, identity and access management, operations of Windows servers, or license and asset management
- ITIL or other IT service management framework knowledge
- Good listening and fluent written and verbal English communication skills
