Transforming SAP Converged Cloud

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Native Developer to join our PlusOne Central Engineering team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in transforming SAP Converged Cloud into a public cloud offering, expanding its capabilities with new services to support SAP Business AI and SAP BTP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-native backend APIs running in Kubernetes
  • Create Kubernetes APIs and operators to automate the lifecycle management of cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with and contribute to cloud-native open-source projects
  • Instrument and Monitor applications within Kubernetes clusters using tools like Prometheus
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize and automate CI/CD workflows for containerized environments
Requirements
  • Degree in Applied Sciences, preferably Computer Science or related field
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or OpenStack
  • First experience with software development preferably with Golang or Python
  • Ability to approach complex problems systematically along with a sense of ownership and drive
  • Preferably experience working with Kubernetes and related cloud native technologies
  • First experience with agile practices and CI/CD driven development
  • Knowledge of Linux, open source hypervisors, network equipment or storage systems would be an advantage
  • Very good English skills written and spoken
  • +3 years of professional experience
