Expert IT Sourcing-Procurement Management Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Sourcing-Procurement Management professional to join our team at Exyte Central Europe GmbH.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to lead the operational aspects of procurement, including identifying and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with IT organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire procurement process, ensuring that Exyte's IT hardware, software, services, and in-house contractor needs are fulfilled efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with IT organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead the operational aspects of procurement, including identifying and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across all procurement activities.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to terms and conditions throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Oversee the contract registration process and maintain accurate records.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within procurement activities, both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure contract scope, terms, and budget align with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, finance, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT procurement or a similar role with a strong focus on contract management and vendor negotiations in a global context.
  • Knowledge of global procurement processes, contract law, and data protection regulations.
  • Knowledge of procurement management software and tools, with a strong understanding of IT systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on ensuring compliance and making data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a focus on ensuring compliance and managing complex procurement processes.
  • Fluency in German required; English language skills preferred.
