We are currently seeking two enthusiastic and skilled individuals for the role of Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer (d/f/m)

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in effective communication with internal research and development teams, mobile network operators, and third-party developers to monitor risk levels and defect resolution progress. Enhance product test coverage by creating and updating existing test cases while evaluating test metrics to meet project exit criteria.
  • Lead automation testing efforts by designing, developing, and reviewing automation test scripts (Python) based on UI elements and Android low-level system functions.
  • Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment (using Gitlab/Bamboo) with teams across Samsung HQ and various European locations to boost automation testing rates and ensure compatibility with OS upgrades.
  • Oversee the testing process for Bixby 2.0 (digital assistant), including UX documentation and test case reviews, defect classification, and performance evaluations.
  • Manage self-certification for customized software tailored to network operators, verifying GSM/WCDMA/5G/5G-SA requirements and UE functions within IMS architecture protocols.
  • Spearhead performance testing for 5G hardware, establishing comprehensive test processes that include environment setup, preconditions, and criteria for static and mobility performance verification.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A technical degree coupled with 3-5 years of experience in the mobile technology sector.
  • Certification as an ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Profound understanding of mobile technology business practices.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, including prioritization, critical thinking, and hypothesis formulation.
  • Proficient in both German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
