Procurement Specialist

Freudenberg is seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes by managing the procurement of essential materials.
- Your Responsibilities:
- Secure a consistent supply of materials required for production activities.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to understand their daily material needs, obtain competitive quotes from suppliers, place orders, and diligently track their progress.
- Contribute significantly to the company's success by actively monitoring costs and quality standards throughout the procurement process.
- Optimize inventory levels to ensure efficient resource utilization and minimize waste.
Your Qualifications:
- Possess a completed commercial education or a relevant degree.
- Bring 3-5 years of proven experience in purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate fluency in German and proficiency in English.
- Exhibit strong negotiation skills and assertiveness when interacting with suppliers.
- Be proficient in utilizing MS Office programs and ERP systems.
- Maintain an independent, structured, and results-oriented approach to your work.
