About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at ITT Inc. as a Buyer (f/m/d) for our purchasing department.

Key Responsibilities

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Managing requirements for indirect materials and product groups with global purchasing activities for our purchased parts, including procurement and order management.
• Designing and implementing supplier processes to ensure optimal fulfillment of purchasing requirements.
• Overseeing procurement strategy to meet timelines, budget adherence, and quality standards.
• Conducting supplier discussions and evaluations as part of supplier management.
• Monitoring and handling contract disruptions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A successfully completed commercial training.
• Professional experience in purchasing.
• Strong communication skills in negotiations to achieve sustainable results and convince external suppliers.
• High analytical skills, complemented by a pragmatic approach and good assertiveness.
• The ability to work independently and results-oriented, as well as in a team.
• Confident handling of the MS Office package.
• Fluent written and spoken English and German skills.
