Principal Scientist for Life Sciences

As a Senior Scientist in R&D, you will play a pivotal role in the advancement of innovative solutions within the realm of Life Science Mass Spectrometry. Your expertise will guide the development of cutting-edge applications that enhance our product offerings.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute innovative application solutions in Life Science Mass Spectrometry.
- Maintain exceptional experimental standards and deep theoretical understanding throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Address complex challenges by formulating effective solutions and strategies, showcasing your problem-solving skills.
- Work collaboratively with team members to refine control software for new mass spectrometry applications.
- Contribute significantly to the product development process, ensuring thorough and clear documentation.
- Apply principles of intellectual property diligently when preparing invention disclosures, patents, publications, and presentations to safeguard innovative concepts and technologies.
- Engage in novel method development alongside internal and external partners.
- A few years of industry experience or several years in academia, particularly in advanced method development for Life Science mass spectrometry applications.
- Proven hands-on experience with LC-MS, sample preparation, and advanced method development.
- Proficient in automated processing and management of extensive datasets using Python.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, adapting to various work dynamics while maintaining a structured scientific approach.
- Skilled in developing software for instrument control and data analysis using Python or similar scripting languages.
- Foster open, respectful, and empathetic communication, promoting strong collaboration.
