The Role
We are seeking an IT Application Manager (BI & Datawarehouse) (m/f/d) for our IT Operations team.
- Oversee, enhance, and refine the reporting capabilities within the Sales & Marketing division in collaboration with global IT teams.
- Ensure optimal functionality of BI systems, manage interfaces, uphold Data Governance, and develop interactive and user-friendly BI reports and dashboards utilizing tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of reporting requirements to facilitate informed business decision-making, identifying key metrics and KPIs, and generating reports to monitor these indicators.
- Collaborate on the enhancement of global data platforms and reporting capabilities for the DACH cluster, assisting the Integrations team with relevant data platform integrations, and working closely with data managers to maintain data quality and integrity.
- Support the development of global data platforms for various markets, assist in the requirements for reporting and visualization outputs, and provide guidance to cluster departments on reporting optimization while considering IT requirements.
- Manage demand for BI reporting within the DACH cluster in close partnership with business units and global IT teams, overseeing CRM data in coordination with relevant global IT teams.
- Identify and implement value in both global and local projects, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance reporting processes and methodologies, while sharing best practices to improve overall efficiency.
- A Bachelor's degree in IT and/or Business Management is preferred, along with 3-5 years of experience in the FMCG sector, particularly in sales & marketing, with a solid understanding of related business processes.
- Proficiency in Sales & Marketing systems, especially BI and CRM, experience in IT demand management, and Big Data projects, along with expertise in MS SQL Server BI stack, particularly SSIS and SSAS, and familiarity with data lake solutions.
- Knowledge of project management systems like Jira, experience managing external service providers, and an understanding of generative AI.
- Independent, solution-oriented with quick comprehension, excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills, and a service-oriented approach with strong interpersonal relationships.
- A commercial mindset with business acumen, proficiency in English, and desired experience in a global environment.
