Childcare Specialist

Passionate about helping children?
We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Specialist to join our team at the Central Accommodation Facility (CAF) in Marl. Our organization provides care and support to individuals who have fled war and terror to start a new life in Germany.
As a Childcare Specialist, you will play a key role in guiding kids and teens through their initial steps in their new home and facilitating their integration into German society.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nurturing care and support to children residing in the facility
- Support and guide children in their integration process, promoting cultural awareness and understanding
- Introduce children to their new home, culture, and values in a child-friendly and engaging manner
- Promote creativity, imagination, and language development through play-based activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and be a supportive listener to their concerns
- Completed training as a childcare specialist or a (social) pedagogical degree
- A big heart and a passion for making a positive impact on children's lives
- Desirable: fluency in foreign languages such as English, Russian, or Ukrainian
- Full-time or part-time position with our organization
- Permanent contract
- Regular working hours: Monday to Friday during the day
