Global Mobility in the Context of Climate Change: A Challenge for the Future

Das Globalvorhaben Menschliche Mobilität im Kontext des Klimawandels II ist ein Projekt des Bundesministeriums für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ), das von der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH durchgeführt wird. Ziel des Projekts ist es, die Regierungen von Fidschi und den Philippinen sowie die Kommission der Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) bei der Entwicklung und Anwendung von Ansätzen zu unterstützen, die den Umgang mit menschlicher Mobilität im Kontext des Klimawandels entwicklungsorientiert gestalten.
Aufgaben- Recherche von Literatur, Studien und Publikationen zur Schnittstelle Klimawandel und menschliche Mobilität unter verschiedenen Gesichtspunkten, mit Fokus auf Gender und Interdisziplinarität, Städte und Finanzierungsmechanismen.
- Planung, Konzeption und Durchführung von (virtuellen) Veranstaltungen, Workshops, Stakeholder- und Partnermeetings.
- Wissensmanagement und Projektorganisation.
- Kommunikation- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit.
- Monitoring und Reporting von Maßnahmen des GV auch in Kooperation mit den Mitarbeiter*innen der Länder- und Regionen.
- Studium der Umweltwissenschaften, Gesellschaftswissenschaften, Sozialwissenschaften, Politikwissenschaften, Gender Studies, Migrationswissenschaften, Geographie oder eines verwandten Studiengangs.
- Kenntnisse über relevante politische Prozesse der Klimapolitik und/oder der Migrationsgovernance.
- Kenntnisse zum deutschen Engagement in Ländern des sogenannten Globalen Südens (z. B. über ein Praktikum) sind wünschenswert.
- Fachkenntnisse im Bereich der Migrationspolitik, internationalen Klimapolitik, Gleichstellung der Geschlechter und Urbanisierung sind von Vorteil.
- Erste Erfahrung im Projektmanagement sind wünschenswert.
- Freude sich in neue Themengebiete einzuarbeiten.
- Teamfähigkeit, Motivation und Eigeninitiative.
- Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Netzwerkfähigkeiten.
- Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office Anwendungen.
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse, Französischkenntnisse sind ein Plus aber nicht notwendig – gute Schreibkompetenz.
