Artwork Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Artwork Coordinator to join our team at Discover International. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the design, approval, and production of packaging artwork for pharmaceutical products.

• Artwork Project Management: Coordinate the entire artwork process from initial briefing to final approval, ensuring that all artwork meets regulatory requirements, brand guidelines, and market standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Production, and external vendors to guarantee the timely and accurate delivery of packaging materials.
• Compliance and Regulatory Review: Ensure that all artwork adheres to pharmaceutical industry regulations, including labelling, safety information, and country-specific requirements.
• Change Control Management: Manage artwork change requests in line with product updates, regulatory changes, or packaging modifications, ensuring that all changes are tracked, documented, and implemented smoothly.
• Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external design agencies, printers, and packaging suppliers to ensure artwork files are produced accurately and according to technical specifications.
• Artwork Approval Process: Oversee the approval process for packaging artwork, coordinating feedback and revisions from relevant stakeholders and securing final approvals within set timelines.
• File Management: Ensure that all artwork files are properly stored, version-controlled, and accessible to relevant departments, maintaining accurate records and documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
• Process Improvement: Continuously improve artwork processes by identifying bottlenecks, implementing best practices, and streamlining workflows to reduce lead times and enhance efficiency.
• Timeline and Deadline Management: Ensure that artwork projects are delivered on time by managing project timelines, monitoring progress, and addressing any potential delays or issues.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that packaging artwork is printed to the highest quality standards and aligns with production capabilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Project Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Prior experience in artwork coordination or project management within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG industries.
• Strong understanding of packaging artwork development, printing processes, and technical requirements.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical packaging and labelling.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors.
• Proficiency in artwork management software or project management tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
