The Satellite Operations department at OHB Digital Connect GmbH is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain satellite ground station antennas
- Design and regenerate receiving and transmitting equipment
- Operate the satellite system, monitoring mission operations and orbit control
- Develop and improve ground and flight procedures
- Operate and maintain associated IT systems
- Support users in mission operations and data processing
Requirements:
- Completed studies in communications engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
- Professional experience in a similar position
- Experience in satellite operations or ground station specification and operation
- Engineering activities and requirements management experience
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with MATLAB and script programming
- Proactive, flexible, responsible, and team-oriented individual
- Very good written and spoken German, good English skills
