Software Developer in Test Specialist

Job Summary

Cinemo is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer in Test to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing test cases, test plans, and automation scripts to ensure the high quality of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans for Android, iOS, and web applications
  • Execute tests manually and develop and maintain automation scripts
  • Produce requirements traceability matrices, automation feasibility analysis, and time estimations
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to understand project requirements and develop test cases
  • Contribute to the definition and refinement of the test strategy and advocate for quality practices in the team
  • Identify and document software defects, track issues, and collaborate with the development team to resolve them
  • Utilize testing frameworks and tools to automate test cases and enhance test coverage
  • Suggest procedure improvements and contribute to improving internal tooling and processes

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of technical testing experience
  • Strong end-to-end test analysis skills
  • Very good experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Selenium) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)
  • Expert-level knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++)
  • Experience in test automation of automotive or embedded hardware is an advantage
  • Strong experience with Linux operating systems and proficiency with CLI tools and scripting
  • Very good written and verbal English communication skills
