Position Overview

As an AI Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and integration of AI services within our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating AI services utilizing Java and Python while adhering to contemporary software development practices.
  • Connecting AI services seamlessly into the Debeka system architecture.
  • Maintaining the quality, functionality, and dependability of our services.
  • Contributing to the establishment of foundational practices in MLOps.
  • Enhancing methodologies and processes for AI development, including monitoring and testing.
  • Assessing new tools, libraries, and technologies within the AI domain.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proficiency in Java/Jakarta EE and Python.
  • Experience with modern CI/CD development methodologies and tools.
  • An interest in cloud-native development technologies such as Quarkus, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and GitOps.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning frameworks, as well as Azure/Azure AI, is advantageous.
  • A strong motivation to learn and independently explore complex subjects, tools, and technologies.
  • Excellent command of the German language.
  • Strong analytical abilities, good abstraction skills, and a collaborative spirit.
