Senior Energy Trading Systems Analyst
in our dynamic team.
As a Senior Energy Trading Systems Analyst, you will be at the core of our Energy Trading operations, collaborating with various stakeholders and managing multiple interfaces. Your responsibilities will include addressing intricate and unique challenges that arise in this fast-paced environment.
You will oversee the central energy trading and risk management (ETRM) platform (Endur), ensuring optimal functionality and effectiveness. This role offers the chance to implement and sustain innovative solutions across various commodities, including power, fuels, and emissions. You will engage directly with a wide range of stakeholders, including trading, risk management, and trade control, fostering a collaborative atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in both the business and technical aspects, learning from seasoned professionals in the field. Our structured onboarding and job shadowing initiatives will ensure you gain a comprehensive understanding of our operational processes. Based in our modern office, you will work alongside a diverse and international team of analysts. Your work will significantly contribute to the European energy transition, promoting a sustainable and greener future.Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Energy Trading Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing commodity product implementations within the ETRM (Endur) system for power, fuels, and emissions. You will utilize your expertise to configure and implement advanced valuation and risk models, including PnL, Value at Risk, Monte Carlo simulations, and Stress Testing. Additionally, you will optimize reporting solutions and support tools, develop innovative monitoring systems, and automate essential trading processes such as settlement/fixing and position management. You will consult with stakeholders and manage projects, ensuring their requirements are met while driving successful outcomes. This position presents an exciting opportunity for you to apply your extensive experience and skills, making a significant impact in a complex and dynamic environment.Candidate Profile
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline. We welcome candidates from various academic backgrounds, as problem-solving abilities are more critical than specific degrees. Extensive knowledge and significant experience with Endur or comparable ETRM systems. Familiarity with Energy Trading or related Commodity Trading practices. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. Strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in English is required; German language skills are a plus but not mandatory.Additional Information
