About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our tech team at Amazon Support Services Germany GmbH. As a key member of our infrastructure monitoring team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and reliable monitoring solutions for our internal AWS-based applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new monitoring services for our worldwide operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize monitoring requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality monitoring tools and scripts
  • Ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure and applications
Requirements
  • Experience in professional software development, with a focus on cloud-based infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of design patterns, reliability, and scaling principles
  • Proficiency in at least one software programming language, with experience in full software development life cycle
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of AWS services and tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
