Job Description

Join our team at Renesas Electronics as a Manufacturing Equipment Operator. We are looking for motivated individuals from various backgrounds to take on the following responsibilities:

Job Overview

  • Operation and setup of equipment in wafer testing and final testing - managing batch starts/ends and processes
  • Conducting inspections as per guidelines - implementing corrective actions for process deviations
  • Executing production control directives (e.g., resource allocation, batch planning)
  • Performing lot acceptance and maintaining lot control
  • Carrying out logistical tasks as directed (e.g., lot splitting, lot merging, lot stopping)
  • Documenting work results (e.g., MES system, Lot Traveler)
  • Conducting specialized measurement tasks as per engineering requests
  • Assisting in the training of new employees in wafer testing and final testing
  • Identifying process disturbances and deviations in the work area, correcting process deviations as instructed
  • Participating in troubleshooting efforts
  • Working in a shift system with planning security (4 days of work, 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts, followed by 4 days off)

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training
  • Proficiency in PC software; MS Office
  • Independent, committed work style with a high level of dedication
  • Strong sense of responsibility and quality awareness
  • Good communication skills and teamwork abilities, along with coordination skills
  • Basic knowledge of English to understand equipment notifications

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:

  • Familiarity with manufacturing and process workflows in the semiconductor industry or similar sectors such as pharmaceuticals, solar, medical, or food industries
  • Experience in operating manufacturing-related applications and production control systems
  • Knowledge and experience in operating equipment in a production environment
