About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Insurance Specialist to join our team at Exyte Central Europe GmbH. As a key member of our global operations, you will play a critical role in driving our mission to deliver world-class engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Insurance Strategy and Compliance: Manage relationships with external insurance brokers, ensuring their alignment with our comprehensive global insurance strategies. Review and provide strategic feedback on insurance-related contract components to ensure full compliance with our Global Risk Policy.
  • Global Insurance Program Administration: Take charge of administering and optimizing our global insurance program, guaranteeing consistent coverage across all divisions, units, and countries.
  • Insurance Claims Management: Efficiently handle insurance claims across various sectors, ensuring they are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Project Risk Management: Work closely with project teams to embed insurance considerations into project planning and execution, ensuring risk management is integral to all initiatives.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: An apprenticeship as an insurance clerk or equivalent qualification; further training as an insurance specialist or a degree in business studies is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Several years of robust experience in the insurance industry, particularly within industrial insurance. Experience with international insurance programs will be a significant advantage.
  • Expertise: Deep expertise in liability, engineering, property, and marine insurance. A strong grasp of the technical and legal aspects relevant to industrial insurance, enabling you to navigate complex scenarios effectively.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both spoken and written English and German, essential for clear communication in our international environment.
  • Soft Skills: A proven track record of customer orientation, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Proficiency in MS Office is a must.
