Research Focus: Human Cornea-on-Chip DevelopmentOur dedicated research group, Materials-Host Interactions, is engaged in developing tissue models and methodologies aimed at evaluating the safety and efficacy of novel biomaterials, while also striving to minimize and/or replace animal testing.
Postdoctoral Researcher RoleWe are in search of a proactive postdoctoral researcher to pioneer the creation of the first human cornea-on-chip system that accurately replicates the primary layers of corneal tissue, intended for use in ophthalmic drug research.
Candidate Requirements:- PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related disciplines
- Experience with organ-on-chip technologies, biological barriers, or three-dimensional cell culture
- Innovative thinking, adaptability, and a problem-solving approach
- Contract in accordance with TV-L E13 standards
