Job Opportunity: Research Intern in Environmental, Occupational and Engineering Psychology

We are seeking a highly motivated research intern to join our team at the Uniklinik RWTH Aachen. As a research intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects in the field of environmental, occupational and engineering psychology.

Your Tasks

As a research intern, you will be responsible for assisting in projects related to multi-domain indoor perceptions. Your tasks will include:

  • Supporting a systematic literature review with a focus on methodological aspects of studies
  • Supporting the development of a study design
  • Supporting data analysis
  • Conducting experiments in the Aachen Workplace Simulation Lab

In addition, you will also support our multidisciplinary team on other cutting-edge research projects in building science with your psychological knowledge and perspectives.

Your Profile

We are looking for a student in psychology with:

  • At least 120 ECTS completed from the bachelor study
  • Good grades, especially in methodology and statistics courses
  • Solid knowledge in basic empirical research methods and data analysis
  • English language proficiency at C1 level or above
  • Readiness for interdisciplinary research

The following optional criteria are preferable:

  • Experience with systematic reviews
  • Programming skills
  • Living in Aachen
  • Interests in an academic career
