About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Management Intern to join our team at enercity. As a Sustainability Management Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our sustainability initiatives and contributing to the development of our sustainability management system.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Analysis: Assist in collecting and analyzing data for our sustainability reports.
• Document and Presentation Creation: Help create and update important sustainability documents and engaging presentations.
• Project and Initiative Planning: Contribute to the planning and execution of exciting sustainability projects and initiatives.
• Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Actively participate in internal and external communication on sustainability topics.
• Workshop and Training Preparation: Prepare workshops and training sessions on sustainability topics.
• Progress Monitoring: Support the monitoring and reporting of progress towards our sustainability goals.
• Analysis and Benchmarking: Create industry-wide benchmarks and analyses.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
• Research and Content Development: Research and develop content on current sustainability and societal topics.
• Operational Support: Bring operational expertise to our daily business and support the team.

Requirements

• You are a registered student in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, or a related field.
• You are passionate about sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) topics.
• First-hand experience in sustainability or project management is a plus.
• Knowledge of common standards and requirements (e.g., GRI, CSRD, ESRS) is beneficial.
• You are proficient in MS Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of BI tools and specialized sustainability software is a bonus.
• You are an organizational talent and work well independently and in a team.
• You are open, communicative, and team-oriented.
• You speak fluent German and have excellent English skills.
