Position Overview

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at HelloFresh, you will play a pivotal role in a team dedicated to developing tools for our data platform. Our team is focused on creating a low-code, configuration-based, unified platform product that enhances the efficiency of building data products. This platform is essential for transforming data into actionable insights, reinforcing our commitment to being a data-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take charge of the architecture, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of the services and tools you will create.
  • Build a cohesive tool for the Data Platform, encompassing API, UI, additional tools, CI/CD, and infrastructure.
  • Establish and implement standards for the utilization of data platform tools across the organization.
  • Share your knowledge of UI and API development with team members.
  • Collaborate within an autonomous, cross-functional team that includes product owners, backend engineers, and data engineers.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in end-to-end development processes using JVM-based languages, Golang, or Python, including unit, integration, and functional testing, as well as application tuning and continuous integration.
  • Strong frontend development experience with React.
  • Capability to design and develop APIs.
  • Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
  • A commitment to CI/CD methodologies and practices.
  • Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and object storage solutions like AWS S3.
  • A passion for collaboration and mentoring team members while sharing practical knowledge and industry trends.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Python or a willingness to learn.
  • Understanding of TypeScript.
