About the Team:
SAP's Global Treasury department is responsible for managing global payment transactions, liquidity oversight, financial planning, and risk management, including foreign currency and interest rate risks. Additionally, Global Treasury collaborates with national and international subsidiaries on all financial management matters. This department works closely with various internal and external partners, including banks, investors, auditors, and finance departments. Furthermore, SAP Global Treasury serves as a strategic partner to the Executive Board, supporting SAP's growth strategy through co-innovation and regular customer engagements. As an intern, you will gain valuable insights into SAP's Treasury operations within an international context.
Your Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:
We are seeking an intern (f/m/d) to assist all teams within Global Treasury with daily operational tasks and project-related activities, providing a comprehensive view of global Treasury Management:
- Collaborate across teams with various internal and external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and finance departments, utilizing virtual cooperation.
- Manage Bank Accounts: Assist in the global bank account opening process for SAP, support the Know-Your-Customer process, and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
- Oversee Cash Management: Coordinate Year-End Balance confirmations with global banks and external auditors, and assist during SOX audits.
- Conduct Treasury Analyses: Perform analyses related to foreign exchange, interest rate management, asset management, and financing.
- Handle General Administration: Support Treasury deal settlements and manage bank statements.
- Provide Subsidiary Support through global and virtual collaboration.
- Participate in Treasury team meetings and bank discussions.
Who You Are:
- A university student (f/m/d) with at least two years of study in economics or business administration, focusing on finance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP FI and SAP TRM is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German.
- Independent, responsible, self-motivated, and proactive in your work approach.
- Strong analytical abilities.
