About the Role
As a Senior Digital Consultant at Siemens Energy, you will play a key role in driving digital transformation across the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to act as an essential link between the Gas Service Central Organization and the central IT organization, ensuring effective cooperation and communication between IT and business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary interface and key contact person in an advisory capacity, ensuring seamless communication between IT and business units.
- Strengthen communication between IT and business units, identifying gaps in communication and collaboration among stakeholders and taking proactive measures to resolve them.
- Unleash innovation potential by regularly exchanging with various hierarchical levels, representing the needs of both business and IT, and identifying opportunities for cross-business and cross-location synergy effects.
- Coordinate the introduction or modification of central IT services in business areas, considering the harmonization of the tool landscape.
- Analyze customer requirements from a technical and economic perspective, understand business processes and detail, and translate them into IT requirements, providing support until implementation.
Requirements
- University degree in IT or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in customer management, demand management, or IT consulting, ideally with a background in project management.
- In-depth expertise in requirement analysis and documentation.
- Strong communication skills, understanding of business processes, and presentation competency.
- Expertise in at least one of the following fields: procurement, finance, engineering, project execution, bid management/sales.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, with negotiation-level proficiency.
