Wafer Fabrication Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Assistant to join our Wafer Fabrication team at TDK-Micronas GmbH. As a Technical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of process tests for technology and process development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track wafer lots for technology and process development, ensuring timely execution of process tests according to engineering specifications.
  • Set up and conduct in-line and electrical measurements on wafers, utilizing advanced equipment and tools.
  • Prepare samples for analysis purposes, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Conduct analyses on Si wafers using SEM/EDX/FIB and optical microscopes, providing accurate and detailed results.
  • Document processing, measurement, and analysis results in comprehensive reports and presentations.
  • Analyze process and equipment-related data using analysis tools, such as Excel and Cornerstone, and document findings in reports and presentations.

Requirements:

  • Completed apprenticeship as a physical or technical assistant or comparable apprenticeship.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor production, particularly MEMS components for sensor applications.
  • Experience with physical analysis methods for wafers (SEM/EDX/FIB, microscopes, etc.).
  • Experience with setting up in-line and electrical measurements on silicon wafers.
  • Structured approach to work and documentation of results in reports.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, with flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of German, with good knowledge of English an advantage.
