About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advisory Engineer to join our team at DNV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and consulting services to our clients in the energy supply industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver training programs for grid operators, power plants, and communal utilities on topics such as power generation, transmission, and distribution.
- Prepare, implement, and follow up on various training sessions, including induction and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate with customers to develop tailored training solutions and adapt existing training programs as needed.
- Develop new training scenarios on our dispatcher training simulator and update data models for customer network models.
- Work as a consultant on small, medium, or large projects related to digital grid operations, with opportunities to lead projects as a project manager.
Requirements
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, automation technology, or a related field.
- Excellent English and German language skills, both written and spoken.
- High IT affinity, with experience in SCADA, EMS, or DMS systems.
- Proven knowledge of electrotechnical interrelationships of the energy supply system.
- Knowledge of planning and/or operation of electricity supply networks (kV) is an advantage.
- Presentation skills and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Strong customer orientation, ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication and team skills.
