Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our global engineering team. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our product delivery processes from initial planning through to final deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure Development and Deployment: Ensure the secure development and deployment of applications, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: Actively contribute to coding, debugging, and security-focused challenging applications and cloud infrastructures.
  • Secure Systems Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) Practices: Implement SSDLC practices to ensure the security of our products.
  • Cybersecurity Communication: Communicate with product delivery stakeholders on cybersecurity matters, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Threat Modeling and Penetration Testing: Participate in threat modeling workshops, penetration tests, and other security-related activities.
  • Cybersecurity Tool Evaluation: Research and evaluate cybersecurity tools and methodologies to ensure the security of our products.
  • Security Tool Administration: Administer and develop our security toolset to ensure its effectiveness.
  • Cybersecurity Incident Response: Respond to cybersecurity incidents and work with audit findings to ensure the security of our products.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or other engineering field (e.g., Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience in cybersecurity roles.
  • Skills: Good understanding of DevOps, DevSecOps, and systems engineering concepts. Knowledge of Linux, Git, Computer Networking, Kubernetes, Docker, web application security, and fundamental IT security principles such as threat actor modeling, vulnerability management, data protection.
  • Cloud Experience: Experience in public and private clouds (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Programming Languages: Familiarity with Bash, NodeJS, Python.
  • CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket, Gitlab).
  • Secrets Storage Solutions: Expertise in secrets storage solutions and their application in DevSecOps.

  • Troubleshooting Skills: Troubleshooting skills to resolve complex security issues.
