Key Responsibilities

As the Deputy Head of MHS Korea, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing profit center operations
  • Gathering and analyzing data on market trends, competitors, and customer insights
  • Collaborating with the Director of MHS Asia to establish long-term business goals and strategies to maximize market opportunities
  • Executing business strategies to achieve defined objectives
  • Developing a comprehensive hiring and training strategy for the MHS Korea team
  • Mentoring employees to enhance their skills and capabilities
  • Creating an onboarding program and training new hires
  • Innovating and launching new services and solutions for both domestic and international clients in partnership with MHS Business Unit management
  • Evaluating and proposing investment opportunities
  • Ensuring compliance with TÜV SÜD guidelines and procedures
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as medical, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the MHS certification and testing sector
  • Familiarity with processes, standards, and regulations governing MHS
  • A proactive, resourceful, and dynamic approach to work
  • A hands-on attitude towards challenges
  • Experience in a multinational corporate environment
  • Strong strategic development and execution capabilities
  • The ability to identify new opportunities and make informed decisions with limited information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English; knowledge of Korean is a plus
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking abilities, along with effective presentation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster internal and external partnerships at various levels, demonstrating corporate professionalism
