About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Expert to join our team at MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group Logistics. As a key member of our Supply Chain function, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our logistics operations.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative warehouse structures and processes to improve efficiency and productivity
- Define and maintain standards for warehouse handling, including processes, system requirements, and equipment
- Analyze complex data to identify areas for improvement and develop fact-based solutions
- Prepare specifications for warehouse service tenders and select suitable storage service providers
- Manage projects in the warehouse environment, including warehouse moves, layout overplanning, and CIP projects
- Design and lead workshops to drive process improvement and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with operational warehouse logistics departments to drive service provider management and process improvement
Your Profile
- Proficiency in German and English (B2 level or higher), with additional languages an advantage
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to inspire others with innovative ideas
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across hierarchical levels
- Experience in project management and warehouse logistics, preferably with outsourced warehouses
- Knowledge of quality management, Lean/Six Sigma, warehouse management systems, and hazardous substances desirable
