Role Purpose

The Central EU Operations General Manager is accountable for overseeing safety, financial management, leadership, and operational efficiency of our Stations, including Fuel Farms and Into-plane services, in alignment with the JIG standards across Europe. This position reports directly to the VP Operations Fuels.

The successful candidate will cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, airport authorities, and third-party vendors. Furthermore, they will lead and develop their team, ensuring optimal performance and growth.

As part of the broader management team, this role will contribute to the execution of our customer HSSE and commercial business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operational activities at the Stations adhering to JIG Standards, in accordance with Menzies Aviation and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate to establish and uphold service delivery standards both internally and externally.
  • Assess and report on Stations' performance against established benchmarks, implementing corrective measures as necessary to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of incidents and near-misses, supporting investigations and generating reports for internal and customer review.
  • Maintain compliance with SSPs and address any issues as required.

  • Capacity to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in prioritizing tasks based on urgency and significance.
