As a Medical Information Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and updating medical information documents, responding to medical information requests, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities:

* Respond to medical information requests from internal and external customers, ensuring responses are medically and scientifically accurate, timely, and balanced.
* Create medical information documents, including standard response documents, by assessing and summarizing published medical and scientific literature.
* Update documents at regular intervals and maintain a database of frequently used medical information documents.
* Report issues of adverse events and/or product quality complaints associated with medical information, adhering to defined procedures and timelines.
* Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas and a good understanding of pertinent disease states.
* Deliver high-quality literature searches, including identification of key literature to support medical content creation and obtaining copyright permissions as needed.

Requirements:

* Proficient in German and English language
* Doctorate in research or pharmacy qualification (Ph.D., PharmD.)
* 2-4 years of scientific writing/content writing/publications, or research/grant writing experience in life sciences domain. Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferable.
* Strong accountability, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
* Ability to perform literature research, analysis, and interpretation of medical data.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and willingness to travel as needed.
