Siemens Fonds Invest GmbH serves as the internal asset management entity for Siemens, dedicated to overseeing institutional funds and similar mandates, including the pension assets of Siemens. Since its inception in 1999, we have also provided actively managed retail funds. Our clientele extends beyond Siemens and its affiliates to include esteemed corporations, insurance firms, banks, and foundations.

The Alternatives division at Siemens Fonds Invest was founded in 2007, primarily advising Siemens' pension funds on global private equity fund investments.
Your role in our mission.

In this capacity, you will significantly enhance our team by contributing insights to investment decisions through thorough analysis of existing data and comprehensive industry research. Evaluating our current portfolio to extract meaningful insights necessitates the enhancement of our databases, effective data collection and management, as well as refining our reporting framework. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Portfolio Oversight: Create, prepare, and deliver regular performance reports and analytical insights.
  • Investment Analysis: Perform industry research utilizing reports and proprietary databases/performance metrics, providing valuable input for investment discussions, and potentially assisting in due diligence processes.
  • Data Governance: Enhance data management practices, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with service providers.
  • Process Improvement: Monitor and refine internal and external processes while coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Client Engagement: Develop and refresh fundraising presentations and address inquiries from investors and internal teams.
  • Digital Innovation: Propel digital transformation initiatives throughout the investment lifecycle.
Qualifications for success.
  • A university degree in business administration or economics, ideally with a concentration in finance, IT, or data management.
  • Several years of professional experience in portfolio management and/or data management, preferably within a private equity fund, fund of funds, asset management, or similar sectors.
  • A strong interest in IT systems, data management, and the integration of AI into your responsibilities.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, coupled with a passion for conducting structured analyses.
  • The capability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously, along with a profound understanding of private equity fund investments.
  • A proactive approach to task development in collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in oral and written English communication; German language skills are advantageous but not essential.
