About the Role

The client, a global leader in pharmaceutical services, is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to join their team in Berlin. As a key member of the Site Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving financial growth and shaping the future of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to increase shareholder value
  • Provide strategic financial advice to the site lead and key stakeholders
  • Manage cash flow, focusing on Net Working Capital improvements
  • Drive process improvements leveraging digital technology
  • Oversee month-end procedures, reconciliations, and variance investigations
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements
  • Manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with local tax regulations
  • Lead the annual financial audit and maintain IFRS compliance
  • Collaborate with other company facilities on AR & AP management
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior financial role within the pharmaceutical or related industry
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and German tax regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership experience and ability to work in a cross-functional environment
  • Proficiency in ERP systems
  • Fluency in English and German
