**Job Summary**

Bishop GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commodity Manager to join our team in Immenstaad, Germany. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for mechanical products, including sourcing, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of mechanical products.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, including negotiating contracts and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market and industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier performance and supply chain disruptions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Fluency in English, with German language skills a plus.
