Your Responsibilities:
The Financial Risk Manager, who will report to the Senior Manager of Financial Risk, is responsible for overseeing the organization’s foreign exchange activities, managing the hedging strategies for commodities, and administering all Treasury IT platforms. This position is integral to the EMEA Treasury operations.
Core Duties:
Financial Risk Management
- Evaluate and provide guidance on risks related to foreign exchange, commodities, and interest rates.
- Direct the execution of hedging initiatives.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with international banks for hedging purposes.
- Conduct trades, enhance global hedging methodologies, and mentor finance personnel.
Treasury IT Management
- Oversee Treasury systems, including the workstation, Commodity module, and payment processing systems.
Regional Treasury Support
- Facilitate treasury management across the EMEA region.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in Treasury roles.
- At least 5 years of experience in implementing global hedging strategies.
- A minimum of 5 years working in a multinational corporate environment.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
